I just was thinking about my travelling to America. I need to say I always remember about it.
It is just always in my mind. I think I grew up after visiting this country.
Look at the same things with a different eye. Well, I think when you travel you always grow up.
And you must be very happy if you have a chance to travel. And especially when you travel at a young age. When I was packing my suitcases I couldn’t believe that in a couple of days I would see that country which I had had a chance to see only on TV. Bye-bye my home! Bye-bye my sleepy teddy...

Last way to airport, mommy's last tears... Words: "Don’t cry mommy, your baby has become an adult woman, it is only 4 months there, I will be back, I promise!" I have no idea of how my mommy could set me loose from under her wing... It is really unbelievable! First customs, first foreign people, the woman's words through the microphone: "Plane 319 departures in 5 minutes."... I was soooo excited! Bye-bye Russia!!!!!! First 6 hours from Russia to Prague. A stop in Prague. Please don’t be cross with me but the food that I had on the plane was terrible. My poor stomach was burping all the time.=) And later in America I was eating almost only Russian food, because I don’t like McDonalds and all that stuff...

I had the stop in Prague for 4 long hours. I was very tired, no shower, no mommy's food..=( So many beautiful European people!!!! The following 9 hours were much more difficult than the last flight.
But what I see?! Does it look like New York from the porthole??!!! Nooo...
YES! IT IS NEW YORK CITY!

JFK Airport ... The strange man who picked us (me and my friend) to the hostel. It was very expensive. He just did his job with silly guys who see America for the first time.. I need to say my English was soooo terrible. Well, my English is still not so good, but I could say only 'hi! how are you?'...now I can say "my English is not so good" =).. Fisrt night in the hostel. First troubles with understanding 'what the hell are they talking about!?'..=)) We spent our first night in NYC, and early in the morning (because of the difference in time, I couldn’t sleep) I was going to Greyhound (I have no idea how it is spelled, but it is a bus terminal in NYC).. And then I was on the way to Atlantic City.....
I was in a cultural shock for the first 2 weeks or something. Actually, whole America is a little bit older than my city in Russia. But it is very-very-very different from Russia. Everything is different.
Everybody on the streets was looking at us as if we were monkeys. And was saying: Welcome to America!
What about guys?... They are crazy !!!!! You guys are crazy! I had never seen so many attention from guys like in America! =) There are many funny and sad stories. Anyway, everything was teaching me life. I was leaving America with tears in my eyes. I was very sad. Last night with the American guy.. Last kiss and a try to remember his face forever, good bye, make sure you e-mail me when you are in Russia, I will be waiting for you to come back, have a save flight...

Four greatest months in my life have gone. Time for coming back to mommy coz I promised to.
Cheer up, Julia! Don’t make your mommy sad… Well, I was crying the whole flight to Russia...
